I’m dreading turning 40 next year – but this is what gives me hope – of finding the truth that your dad has found. Of having years of experience of seeing God work and knowing that He is trust-worthy.

I would like to eat a sunday potluck in that basement again sometime and visit the sheldon people again sometime. Those memories from child hood are precious to me..

I really like this post. Lucinda, you’ve reminded me again of what is wrong in my life and what I need to do to fix it. Why, indeed, don’t I ask first? I’m sure God is disappointed that I don’t trust him, don’t reach for him first. But today is a new day, a new opportunity to embrace the One who is all in all, everything that I need and ever will need. Thank you for the reminder!

Such a good post Luci! I needed this. I have some big questions right now about people I love. I realize I need to just lay them down at the feet of Jesus, trusting Him to be in control. It is so much easier said than done!
