I like how you pointed out that Absalom was abusive, in an indirect way, to his father. I think this may be more common than we realize — the children abusing the parents — especially in a culture that seems to want to put all the blame on the parents…. (I’m not a parent, by the way. Just commenting on what I’ve observed.)
