So when I did the Christmas special on my books, I said I would give an extra discount to anyone who took a picture of themselves or someone else with one of my books and sent it to me to post on my next blog. Turns out I’ve waited until my next after blog. And turns out you all are more comfortable taking pictures of children or with children than of yourselves.
In fact, one of you, a friend of mine, wrote, “You almost had me, at the extra discount—but what a threat, to end up featured online! That’s a steep price.” And when I pleaded for just one little picture, said, “Nopitty nope nope.”
I am heartbroken over this failure in friendship, but nevertheless grateful to those of you who did send a picture. Some of you weren’t even ordering or waiting around for a discount; you sent a picture just for nice.

I sent ou an email last evening…and again, I wonder if you got it. For some reason, the email I sent first time to you wasn’t received and the one I sent yesterday may not have been…and yjis comment of course has nothing to do with today’s blog post but I know you will get it! I just wanted to say that your book arrived yesterday…I started reading last night and could hardly put it down. I got to bed very late😜 and will blame you for that! Your words conveying your thoughts and feelings are well crafted. I would say that Charlene was fortunate to have you in her life…and it was an ‘appointment’ for a time such as it was!
