I knew some of the Meekis family, as in Victor’s brothers and sisters, from years ago when I lived in Red Lake working in the Northern Light Gospel Mission office as a bookkeeper. Same place, yes. There is still a mission in Red Lake, although I’ve never been there. But people have asked me if I’m from Red Lake more than once.

This is like something I would do. I went back to haiti this christmas to visit my old friends from 25 years ago…..and got hugs and kisses and treated like royalty. And i hope i can go back again sometime and not wait as long as 25 years….that’s too long….but we still remembered each other!
