Beautiful! The puppies…. How far would I need to travel to get one? 😄
A mere 950 miles…that’s only 15 hours of driving. ☺️
Love the tractor picture, what are you planting?
Ivan used this ancient corn planter to plant sweet corn out in our field.
Was happy to catch a glimpse of you while you were visiting beautiful Wisconsin!
Can you tell us about the family eating on the floor? Relatives? Recently arrived Syrian refugees? Just having fun – a picnic at home… or is this cultural? I’m curious!
Good question, Holly! My friend Lois introduced me to her friends recently. They arrived in the U.S. as refugees from Syria and Iraq…it’s been five years at least, I believe. This is normal eating style for them. Lois and I enjoyed it very much.
Where is photo# 3 and 4? And what about the turtle? I think turtles are special to you!
Photo 3 and 4 were taken at the Salisbury Viaduct (no longer in use). It’s near where we go to church, and we hiked there one day with friends.
Is the picture with the silos in the background the place where you grew up? Would the picture of a field beside an interstate be your farm (Ivan’s)?-or your dad’s?-or just a pretty picture? Thanks for the pictures!
Yes, the picture with silos is where I grew up. Dad is showing off his newly planted apple orchard. The farm beside the interstate is one we saw when we hiked the old viaduct. Don’t know whose it is, but I liked how in the picture, everything curved. :)
I enjoy your pictures and your family.
I also see that marriage makes you look radiant!
God bless you!
