You are right, of course. Aftermath does imply disaster, and I believe I was thinking of the “disaster” of a house cluttered by leftover items, food, gifts, wrapping paper, etc. when I chose it. I guess I took the liberty of repurposing the term.

You will be glad to know that I took down the “Escape Room” blog due to your concerns and those of others. I agreed with your thoughts, and thank you for them.

Is that truly the (best) word? It usually implies followup to a disaster or other unpleasant situation. Thus it runs counter to the emotions written of here. Just my thoughts.

My house is full of goodies too. I have had a church social and a family brunch this holiday season. My guests come in the door with sweet stuff. I wish I had had some of it in the car with me to give to the gentleman who helped me with jumper cables this afternoon.

Blessings in the new year, Luci!

I wish I could! Maybe next trip across the world. :) And yes, guilt and self pity, both of which I struggle with at times, can immobilize love.

Thank you, Mollie! I will definitely write more about the China trip, and focusing on the King of kings is a good reminder.
