Recently I was encouraged by a friend from vastly different background who was admiring our “large family” and I joked that we are the freak show in our town, with FIVE KIDS and homeschoolers to boot. He looked at me seriously and said, “That’s okay. That is how it should be.” It made me think about counter culture choices, making them not just because we want to be odd, but because we believe we are called to a radically different set of values. I applaud you for your courage to interview the “untouchables”. And I believe that your heart was for more than just the story.

You have had some amazing life experiences in the last years and I’m guessing they have open your eyes (and heart) to the heart cry of others.
