October 2015 Photos

I love, love, LOVE this time of year. Two short weeks where the weather is absolutely perfect and the trees so red and golden you could drink them for wine.

We went on a church picnic, and here are a few shots I took there.

This afternoon, my brother Ben agreed to take some reference photos for the children’s book, The Arrowhead, which I am publishing with Christian Light Publications. The artist is currently working on illustrations, and Dad and my niece Madison will be the models for the grandpa and granddaughter in the story.

“It was awkward,” was Madison’s take on the photo session. Here they are at a less awkward moment.

Later on, I found Grandma Rose out with MacKenzie and Madison, raking up a big pile of leaves to jump into.
